    East Texas Hunting Help

    I’d start with some map work and key in on any 1-5 year old clear cut edges, especially if they have creeks/SMZs on the edge leading into. You’ll find these to be key transitions. In a wetland area I’d be looking for high ground bedding in the thick of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Hello from TX

    It's been crazy hot this year, and a pretty tough drought. You can usually cut the humidity with a knife in East Texas, but not this year. Lots of oak trees are cooking with the dry weather and unusually hot temps. Antler growth has been pretty good though despite the harsh conditions.
