Yeah, the level vial that we (MKMachining) use is pretty specialized and has been tested thoroughly. It is hard to get a level vial that is as sensitive as ours in such a small size. Our vials are sensitive to 45 minutes (3/4 of one degree) from the left to right black lines and still move...
The Gen1 bullpup was before my time here and I give the owner flack every time it was brought up. While it did function, it sure was not pretty to look at. The balance point really depends on what barrel you throw on it. With a 26" barrel, it balances right around the Mag Well, but that also...
It might be worth it to start a new thread for custom spotting scope caps in general. We are wanting to come out with a dedicated line of caps for spotting scopes, but we prioritized Laser Range Finding Binocular caps first. We wanted to also source stiffer springs to help out with the larger...
I need a measurement. Our spotting scope caps that we have made are kinda niche and so do not get a whole lot of orders for them. We keep a list of sizes we have made, but not a list of what that customer purchased.
If you have a set of digital calipers and can give me a measurement, I will...
MKMachining here. Other than the reduced length, there isn't anything superior to other stuff that is out on the market already. The V-Bed system ensures really good accuracy and it acts just like any other chassis system on the market... but reduces the overall length by a lot, nearly a whole...
I just looked to see the status of these. They have been made and accounted for, but are still in post processing. I should see these either tomorrow or Monday to send your way.
We actually made a few extras to leave around incase another forum thread like this one pops up again. The 65mm Swaro...
Hey guys, Tony from MKMachining here. I keep having Rokslide members calling me up asking about Spotting Scope Objective caps so I figured I would pop by. If anyone has any questions, feel free to tag me or send a DM.
We make custom size scope caps for whoever wants them. As mentioned before...
Don't go through all the trouble, but if it is super not out of your way, sure. I really would just need the weight of the rod itself though.
How long is the Rod section?
Maybe you didn't see the username. :) I am the Operations manager of MKM asking for feedback on our mount that you modified.
We are moving to something more lightweight with the next generation of mount and wanted to see how your carbon fiber rod holds up under recoil.
You might not have to buy an entire unit. We are not certain yet, but we are looking to design the new components to be backward compatible so the owners of our older generations can buy parts of the new kit for a lower price. But... that is not confirmed yet. There is at least one part...
Have you tried blue or purple Loctite to keep them from coming apart? Purple is the ultra low strength version so you don't have any hassle when you go to disassemble them. I believe Vibra Tite has been used successfully in the past as well.
I can not say how or what just yet, but our new...
