Show your Tikka ten round groups

Here's a 30 round group about 1.25 in with new 223. Trying to get some rounds through the barrel and learn the gun. Shots in the diamond are a previous day. Really liking how repeatable this gun is acting. I pulled it all apart and hogged out the barrel channel. Degreased and loctited the rings...

    Alaska in August

Caribou should be easy to get on and Ptarmigan. Hopefully you can hook up with a local. Grizzly bear would be out, as you would need a guide.

Critique my 300 Win Mag build

Your 308 sounds like a great option for bear and elk at medium ranges, especially in a light rifle. I do understand the desire for something different though:)

Denali National Park bridge crew ordered to stop flying American flags

Like you said, it's soul crushing. It has been a few years since I read it last, but I remember feeling sick to my stomach after finishing it.

Denali National Park bridge crew ordered to stop flying American flags

What a crock. Eielson visitor center is nowhere near Denali. Ai is a wonderful tool for the clueless idiots. Also tired of the people who display their flags without proper lighting at night and all the other etiquette. If you can't display correctly, then don't do it.

When to stop supporting a hunting brand

Ok, I see a million references to Nightforce and MF. What the hell is MF? ****, I hate these stupid acronyms that people think are common. Spell it out you stupid MF'ers-lol.

    RokStok

You can certainly ask or push for it, but it wouldn't stop me if they said no. If it's a make or break issue then you might have to go with a lesser stock to get what you want.

I wouldn't let the texturing stop me from buying a stock. Lots of different ways to fix that and can be as easy as adding a few strips of skateboard anti-slip or some thin clear epoxy and a sprinkle of your choice of sand blast media.

Question for those that have taken shots on Dall’s

Hopefully you will be above them shooting down, so a prone shot is likely. Normally there is time to choose a position and get comfortable, even if you are below them.

    Best Cellular game cameras?

I'm just going with plain alkaline. They last longer than I thought, and it's not worth the premium for lithium anymore. A solar panel would be nice though.

    1. That's a big brown bear, not a grizzly 2. A 10mm won't feel like a stopper

BDL's suck compared to magazines. Same deal except they drop cartridges everywhere when you unload. I grew up on ADL's and BDL's and love having a Tikka magazine :)

    The Shoot2hunt Podcast

Timely podcast. Although we don't have bears in Kansas, I've decided to downsize my pistols due to some recently developing hand issues. My new Sig 10mm is going to get traded for either a 5.7x28 or 22 Mag. This will be for home protection and night predator control. Leaning towards 22 mag since...

    I'm a slow butcherer...

Agreed. You can have speed or quality, but both are factors in the final product. If you go fast then you have to be satisfied with more tendon, silver skin, etc in the grind pile. Quality is zero tendon or silver skin. Only the one processing or eating it can decide which way they want to go...
