I bought mine through BlackOvis and am still waiting but I have to say that seeing a manufacturer stand behind their product like this is very refreshing and appreciated.
Three thumbs up.

The FL Uncompahgre is surprisingly warm.
I had on a very light SS merino, a midweight merino LS sweater, and the FL puffy on for a backpacking trip last weekend in Yosemite. I was comfortable talking/sitting in the exposed snow-kitchen at night (20F) for hours on end. It really surprised me...
You could run an older SL5 for 2 people. I can get two of me (6'6" 230) in an SL3 without a stove. The SL5 would be perfect if you can find one and has a full nest with bathtub floor. The Big Agnes Yahmonite 5 is the same thing but rebranded.
Example...
Where most users are going to see the big changes in price and in size are the lenses. Just like binos/spotters you cannot cheat physics. Glass will cost and where you'll see the biggest improvements.
A smaller sensor gets you a larger "effective zoom" for the same lens size. This is how the...
Esbit is nice because it's light and because it's QUIET.
It's not so great in a lot of places because the BTUs are low, they're a little finicky, they're not so great for melting snow, and leaves a nasty residue.
They're also not legal to use in some backcountry areas (such as California.)
Check out Kuiu.
The Toray DerzimaxNX membrane in both the Chugach and Yukon lines is what's knows as as monolithic membrane instead of a microporus membrane.
What does that mean? It means "no holes." It means that it absorbs perspiration and then transmits that through the fabric instead of...
Big public shout-out to Kuiu for their stellar customer service. Had a bit of a convoluted series of orders and returns but they went above and beyond and were great to work with.

Bought a bunch of non-patterned clothing thinking I'd wear the old ASAT leafy over the top.
But there's obviously a reason it's not common. Too many snags? Or something else?
Seems ideal to be able to hunt in, basically, "whatever" since it's a mesh oversuit but has anyone actually tried it...
Originally avoided those because they're 16 gpi compared to the 11.2 gpi of the Kaos. It makes for a much heavier arrow overall and also hurts FOC for the same weight-class arrow. On paper anyways. =)
So I decided to try something different and build "heavy" arrows.
Bow
2015 Hoyt Nitrium 32 LD (Long-draw) set at 32" DL
80 lb limbs turned down to about 76 lbs
Arrows
.200 Gold Tip Kinetic Kaos @ 30" (longest they make)
75gr Easton HITs
300gr bullet-points to match 300gr broadhead+insert combo...
SL1/2 are more traditional tents while the SL3 is a 'mid.
Of course, nothing really stop you from pitching the SL3 as a rectangle (just fold the two extra points inwards) but you have to mod it a little to add the extra tieouts. =)

I have a new Cabela's Alaskan Guide 6-person dome up in the Classifieds if you're interested. It's never even been set up but has just sitting in my garage.
Retails for $650, asking $550 ... put the extra towards the stove/jack!
Let me know if you're interested ... =)
