    I've been getting mixed messages on this so wanted to see what all you experts have to say on the subject. Additional question, what do you typically pack extras of. I'm a big proponent of extra socks, extra short base lower and extra long base lower.

    That's a pretty personal question, it totally depends on your setup and how you shoot. Personally, my only rifle with arca is my mdt chassis build and I usually mount the rifle behind the swivel stud and find it to be plenty stable.

    Word to the wise on the high buck, unless you're in shape, its going to be some of the most physical hunting you've ever experienced.
