    I would run larger bullet, lil longer barrel, and lighter scope if it was me. If you're going to reload get 280AI. I have a 7RM and prefer the added authority over 6.5PRC especially for elk. 20" barrel will cut your range down some as well. To each his own.

    I see this but you can still find huntable areas. I saw deer every day last year and elk 3 days also including 2 shootable 4/5pt bulls and a 6x6 herd bull. Saw people every day too unfortunately.
