    243 win

    Looking for options one a 243 win. Not a poll or debate. I’m looking at tikka but has a 22” barrel and Weatherby Vanguard has a 24” barrel. Just hunting rifle for my godson. Dual purpose varmints and deer.

    Uses. Bench work and varmints truck gun. Trigger was worked. 55 gr nos BT was heaviest I’ve tried. Using lapua brass fed 205. Benchmark powder.

    Savage axis 223

    I had an axis 223 for few years now. Not happy with accuracy replaced factory stock with a Boyd’s. Looking to part with it to something a bit better. Still considering a budget gun but wanted a bit of user opinions. Looking for 1-12 twist. Tha axis has a 1-9.
