Set up camp during Labor Day weekend down in a unit bordering the Weminuouche. We left after 5 days as we saw no fresh elk signs, or heard a single bugle after hiking over 10 miles throughout the area in treelines and dark timber. Elevation ranged from 11,500-12,200 ft with temps hitting 72...
Ditto what Hussar shared. I’ve been running a Landslyde for 2-3 seasons, and an Accutouch for a few years. I fly every year with my bow to TX and PA, and they see a fair share of use year round. Highly recommend Axcel.
I am done with Ultraview. Their CS is horrid, not sure why everyone on the forums raves about it. I purchased the 3 pin hunting cartridge when it was released early in 2023 with the intentions of swapping out one my of bow’s Axcel scopes for a UV3XL with the 3 pin cartridge.

Take a look at MTC Kitchen or Korin out of NY/LA. They are Japanese kitchen supply stores that offer legit sushi ware. I recall them carrying this item. Don't remember the metal they are made from.
Progressive grinding is useful on big batches- coarse on the first grind followed by a finer die. I remove all sinew pre grind and like the denseness of a single grind on leaner muscles if not adding beef or pork fat. If adding additional fat you will have to double grind for a homogenous final...
Most grinders have aluminum worms and dies/blades. At least all the commercial Hobarts, Biro and Hollymatics I've used. Run the parts through a dish washer on high heat, and hand dry once done and rub them with mineral oil.
Vacmaster 3 mil. I buy them on Amazon. If you put any bone in cuts just cover the sharp edges of the bone with folded over parchment paper so it doesn't puncture the seal.
Most processors don't know what a picanha, petit tender or underblade are. I am blessed to have a background in butchering and having the equipment to do it myself.
Currently shooting the 130 Gamechanger out of my 260AI and 6.5 SAUM and they shoot just well as the 130 and 140 Bergers, single digit ES and they thump out to 1,200 yards. H4350 (260AI) and H4831SC (6.5Saum).
Recently saw Sierra is offering a 130gr TMK which I am excited to hunt with. The...
I still use my 10x42 UHD for Eastern/Texas hunts after upgrading to 10x42 NLs. The NLs outperform the UHD in Colorado/Western hunts, but hunting out East the UHD work just fine as I am seldomly viewing anything over 300-400 yards and I am up in a tree stand usually. The extra ruggedness of the...
I use a bushnell broadhead for bowhunting that can display in either red or black. Very accurate compared to my Leica 2800.COM. The only issue I've had with it was on a cold (10*f) PA archery hunt this year the engagement button was acting up. I wouldn't suggest it for rifle work in sub freezing...
New straight Razor 85mm spotter with the Vortex MOA 22x wide anglel eyepiece. Took it to the range once to spot while calibrating ballistics with it and never used it again. No blemishes or signs of use on either pieces.
Purchased last Christmas from Scheels, and they have been in their boxes...
