    Fwiw, to those folks looking at spotting scopes, I ended up with the Kowa 66A and it's absolutely spectacular to look through. Didn't have a chance for a side-by-side comparison with the Swaro 65 25-50x, but it's hard to imagine anything being something more clear/crisp.

    Swaro NL 8x42 and 12x42?

    Is there enough difference between these two binos to ever justify owning both? (say, the 8s would be for archery, tighter terrain, more hand-holding and the 12s would be for bigger country and lots of time on a tripod?) Or maybe another way to ask this is what's an ideal/awesome two-bino setup?

    Sure seems like NR hunters are big business for both state wildlife departments (licenses/tags) and local businesses (hotels, t-shirts, bars, etc) these days. CO still seems somewhat reasonable with their tag prices (unlike what WY did with it's special draw).
