    Looking for 2 pack recommendations.

I'm throwing a random suggestion out here. Alps Outdoorz will give a very good discount code for signing up with your email. Recently they brought out a 2 pack system that is fairly light and hits the main features needed. 1800 and 3800 Elite. If your 2 hunts were reversed, I doubt if trying a...

    Benchmade Bugout Is Legit!

Online I found the Benchmade site and Benchmadeonline site. Would trying to save a few bucks be worth trying the second one? Anyone else see that?

Tired of former pro athletes turned hunting celebs?

I'm aware of a couple hockey guys with their own business for hunting apparel. Without knowing the whole story, they probably love hunting and are hard workers. Flip side is a brand spokesperson like Shac selling the General car insurance.

Getting my system organized for carrying deer. More and more trips out to National forest and difficult areas has put the writing on the wall. Alps outdoorz is local to me and started having outlet sales. I have the new Elite series, 1800 and 3800 with the base frame. Initial tests show they...

    8x vs 10x

8 is a good plan. Maybe a 6x from Maven. I have a high quality set of 10x32 and they have too much tunnel vision for thick areas. Love looking through them but hate finding something in them.

I have been trying to figure out a security solution lately. Trail cams are already in use. Rather spend time figuring it out than spend time with insurance adjuster.

A scary day in the elk woods

Major experience to deal with! Unforgettable. With it being archery season, they tried to get in some trouble. Had you been shot, they would be in a huge pile of trouble. Do you keep first aid supplies in you?

    Simplifying Bow Setup

Going simple is a good thing. And can play out in different ways too. My 3 pin sight is set for simple today but could be tweaked in a different way down the road. Currently I have the middle pin centered in the ring. And it helps with target panic. When a deer is in my sight ring, often I shoot...

    Boots for treestand hunting

I don't enjoy the rubber boots with stick/stand hunting. But tried it a year or two since hunting "scent free" was so important . Been using lace up Crispi for most of my hilly areas.

    Legit Hunting Personalities

In the whitetail, DIY realm, Dan Infalt is solid. And stayed away from the sell out game for a long time. If he dropped his full time job and dropped helping others learn, no limit on his kill potential.

Running Falkens on an F150 and wife's Honda. Nothing yet to say that they were a bad choice. But I'm not able to evaluate the snow capabilities.
