I bought my son's compact 6.5CM from Family Firearms. They will make you submit your email for a quote. It was priced under what you have listed above.
I plan on getting another for my next build.
Had some similar experiences as you guys (although not as long or as many miles) on my NM trip. Muscular fatigue was near zero, except for a few sections we were on our tippy toes going up. I am happy with the results considering I started these about 5 weeks before the hunt. 30lbs felt...
I'm relatively new to the suppressor game, but I bought another within a few weeks of shooting my first (if that tells you anything).
I really don't want to shoot without one now.
Thanks for sharing your story. Getting injured way back in the rough stuff is always on the back of my mind.
I hope you have a speedy recovery and get back after it.
6.5 PRC, 156gr EOL
2841 MV, 2530 impact.
Cow Elk - 300 yards, quartering away, slightly uphill.
Bullet entered through the ribs, got a lung, split the heart and destroyed the far shoulder. Lots of bone fragments. Recovered some small pieces of jacket, but was unable to find the bullet.
Those grouped well.
I grabbed another box to foul my bore and check zero after cleaning. More ejector marks and one extremely heavy bolt lift and a drop in velocity. I have also noticed some faint marks on the lapua brass from the berger factory 156s running at 2841 fps avg. I did take a cow...
I'm currently on week 4 of Evoke's gym based muscular endurance workout listed on their site and have enjoyed it so far. Very similar to this. Lots of single leg work and heavy legs - especially on the cool down run.

I had 5 of the 147s left over and used them to get on paper today with a new scope.
I had some extractor and ejector marks on a couple of them like pictured before. 2938fps avg. 2959 max.
Early on I had pressure signs exactly like that on mine (Hornady factory ammo as well). Even had one with heavy bolt lift. I attributed it to solvent in the chamber since I was doing break in at the time.
I've not had any issues since, though. Wondering if it was a Hornady issue?
Right now I have a Nosler SR30K, but will be swapping it over to a different rifle and replacing it with an OCL Hydrogen K 6.5 as soon as the ATF approves it.
I've got a pair of the Lapponia Lites. I would have loved to have them for the field. Lightweight, narrower heel and fairly wide toe box.
The soles are a little stiff and hard in my opinion for road marches and ruck runs, but YMMV. A good insole would probably fix the cushioning issue.
