    Max COAL for a factory mag is supposedly 3.340" but I do remember measuring mine at some point and it was like 3.360" or 3.380" IIRC. Could you confirm this @goathunter ?

    I ended up ordering a stainless 7-08 from euro optic for $750 on sale. Add in this $75 rebate and thats a pretty good deal. About the best I’ve seen at least. There are a bunch of other chambering’s available as well.

    I have one I might consider selling. It is from a Veil model so it is fluted and threaded. Stainless with that tan colored cerakote that they use on the Veil models. Shoots very good! Consistent .375” groups with hand loads and often times less. I think it has right around 100 rounds down...
