    Gunwerks 6IX+ Titanium Suppressor

I have a steel 6ix and titanium 6ix+. Both are great cans for that length. I don't notice much difference in sound between the two so if i was doing it over again i would probably go for the titanium 6IX since it's smaller than the titanium 6IX+. I have a couple cans that are 7-8" and they...

Cabela's new price matching effort seems like an attempt to stay relevant-especially for club card holders..

Cabelas business model catered to 50+ year old men 20 years ago and they never adapted to the new age. They remind me of Kmart, which is extinct now. Haven't shopped there in years, with no plans to again. Scheels and other small businesses get my money.

    Tire Recommendations

I recently purchased a set of Firestone Destination XT tires for my F150 and am very impressed. I was sold on the full depth siping. I've owned Coopers and Falkens in the past.

I grew up riding hardtail as well, so i can understand, but would recommend 130-150mm travel full suspension bike for Sedona and general trail riding. Biking is good for the soul...you wont regret getting back into it.

    First vs Second Focal Plane

Good info for an old thread. I prefer FFP but do own multiple SFP. I want to be able to hold for wind with as little thought as possible, which is why i prefer FFP. If you use SFP i would recommend a lower max of 9-12x so you can hold wind (assuming you have a reticle that allows).

Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 FFP - initial thoughts on opening

You bought a great scope, glad you like it. First focal isn't for everyone but if you shoot long and need to hold wind it makes it a lot easier. I tend to keep my first focal scopes on about 6x so i can see the reticle.

    What happened to Vortex?

This thread makes me feel good that i never jumped on the vortex bandwagon.

Sedona is one of the best places in the US to ride. Many people like it better than Moab. There are multiple shops there that rent high end bikes. I seriously recommend knee pads and elbow pads...those rocks are very hard on skin and you're no spring chicken anymore.
