Projectiles shooting well a bit shorter lends well to good accuracy in factory ammo that has to fit many production rifles and also for reloaders using those same rifles limited by mag length.

My late season pants up until this year have always been wool. This season I picked up a pair of first lite Catalyst Foundry Pants. These are easily the best, most comfortable hunting pants I've owned. So far they are holding up great.
I've heard of people doing it. Guess it depends on the place. If I was to depend upon a car wash, I'd make sure the skull was good and simmered so the washing would be easier.
I've used velvet tan. I know there are safer products on the market now. I've done a few velvet euros by cutting off the skull cap and reattaching after the antlers are treated. It's a pretty tedious process to make it look good. I can see why the taxi mentioned above wanted that kind of money...
Do yourself a favor and bone out the meat. Take a small tarp on which to lay the meat and take some extra time to bone out the meat. It has to be done anyway, and bones are heavy.
