Now this quiver debate has turned into a compound vs. Longbow. Technicologically advanced equipment vs. An an antiquated bow. Obviously the compound wins. You continue to miss the point. You a very good shot? Cause you keep missing.
Alot of us don't want an ASA setup for hunting....thats what I'm getting at...flew right over your head like a 10x from a longbow from 40. Some of us still kill them deader TF from range if needed without all that.
I had a quivilizer for a couple years. Killed a bull with it deployed (43 yards). The other, not mounted on the front (no need, 23 yd. Shot). It works. The bow stabilized and there wasnt much pin float. I also have shot various stabilizers. I setteled on a 8" with a couple decently heavy...
The dudes started hunting my area a few years back. Growing up in MT I knew to go a different direction if hunters were out ahead of you....The owner and his brother did this to me a couple times. Walked right behind me after making clear eye contact from 500 yds away...Now their whole family...
I also pack only a gravity style (4L). I have a vario, quit using it years ago. No effort required to hang (buddy has a 10 L) bag. Full fresh bag in minutes. Filters seem to last longer in gravity systems as long as you backflush

We did have a microburst type gust blow our tipi over one night. We were awake because it must've been blowing 50-60 mph all night... you could hear the stronger gust coming down the mountain before it blew our tipi over. My buddy and I were able to repitch. I recently got a SO silex...
I owned a kifaru 8 man. The quality looked good. It performed well for us...until it snowed. We gambled and left it pitched...it snowed 2-3 inches and ripped the top cap and a panel. We were able to sew it up enough to use with paracord. Overall for the price, I will pass on kifaru. Those luxe...
Since covid and the massive amounts of people moving here(MT), shed hunting has gotten very popular. I work for myself and have time to do some hiking in the early spring. There's people everywhere with dogs all days of the week, 10 miles in....you can only hope to get a line that wasn't hiked...
