Its that time of year 2023 fitness goals
Only place I will post this. I'm 37 years old. I want to get in the best shape of my life by the time I'm 40. I'm 6'5' somewhere around 420lbs. My goal for 2023 is to get down to 350lbs or better. Sold KESTREL Glassing Systems Monopod and Tripod Adapter $140 TYD
Lightly used Kestrel Glassing Systems Monopod (Long Frame). I also have the tripod adapter which is compatible with their QD Post system. Purchased in 2022. Fishing knife
I second the bubba. Have tried many fillet knives over the years and find the bubba to be the best all around I've ever used. Has flex but also some backbone. Very comfortable grip that works well even with wet slimy hands.- schweinstein

7mm Rem Mag
My first rifle was a 7mm rem mag. Great all around cartridge. Killed elk and deer with it. That being said, not sure I'd get it again. Spring Bear Hunt Planning
What style of hunting are you into and good at? I know people who are deadly still hunters and callers. I don't have the patience to sit looking at trees for more than a couple hours. I like spot and stalk. There are pros and cons of each and in reality be prepared for both. 10 days is great...- schweinstein

When southerners decide to head to Idaho for a spring bear hunt....
If you are wanting to spot and stalk stay away from the panhandle (northern Idaho). Its heavily timbered in most areas. If you do get a guide they may have some spot and stalk areas on public land up north but there are just not as many as units more to the south. Good news about the timbered...- schweinstein
