    No, that's adrenaline and dopamine (when you get out). I've never felt a lack of focus or mental block when in the cold plunge. Quite the opposite, actually. I suppose you could stay in a cold plunge long enough to get hypothermia, but then again Wim Hof has been in them for 60 minutes. Crazy!

    Do not jump into the shower after the plunge. Take your shower to clean up, then get in the cold plunge. Let your body warm up naturally. Or, just take a cold shower after the cold plunge, lol.

    That's not going to hurt you, but suspect you'd be better off in a cold shower. I've tried cryotherapy a number of times and the benefits are far less than cold water exposure (shower or tub, doesn't matter) due to water's ability to conduct heat.

    Forgot to add that if you have anterior pelvic tilt it will only exacerbate the hip flexor issues. APT is corrected by hip and glute work.

    Give hip/glute work a try. In my experience there’s no real need to strengthen the hip flexor, especially if you already have a high training load. They could be tight though, especially if you spend a lot of time sitting.
