Not familiar with your scope but some of my scopes only allow one turn of windage. Then you remove the cap and reset zero, it will then allow another turn. That cost me a trip to the range once. You didn't mention if you were using a canted rail but if you have a 20 moa rail under the scope...
On my chassis rifle I sometimes mount a small bag to the rail. The rifle will set on top of , a tree limb, top of a tripod, fence rail, stump etc. Got the idea from the PRS guys. Hand carry isn't this guns strength. Trade offs need to be considered.
I run a bunch of cell cams on Energizer Lithium. They last 3 months with heavy usage, longer in the off season. Only problem is when a lithium shows a decline on the monitor it's dead. So if you go into a difficult to reach area and batteries are say 2 months old, I replace them even thought...
Like the others. I use a fired case from the rifle and a case comparator to verify the shoulder bump of the resized case. In one of my riffles the case body remains tight in the chamber after shoulder bump. So I cannot feel shoulder bump on the bolt in the weapon. Just something to consider
