    Seen a bunch killed with a 308 using 150 & 165 Accubond out to 500. Pic a bullet your gun likes and get comfortable out to 300-400 and you will be fine.

    Big mature rams are tough if you try to make steaks or roasts. They are ok in in sausage or tamales. Backstraps and tender or ok chicken fried.

    I carry a fix it sticks in my pack. Very similar to what u have.
