I have used Sage Precision (Jed Knowlton) out of Hondo and I have used Twisted Precision (John Forster) out of Center Point. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, Pm me if you have any questions.
Just last month, I had enough with all the non stick crap. I broke down and purchased a cast iron set from Smithey Ironware and have been super impressed. I hope they live up to all the hype.
I am having a Sako 85 action re barreled with a 22" proof barrel and will be topped with a Trijicon Ten Mile HX, will be loading a Berger 175 Hunter Elite. I cant wait to add some hunting pictures to this group this season.
I have killed 3 mature cow elk with my 6.5 Prc. Two of them were shot using Choice Ammo in 130 Barnes TSX and were 300-350 yards and my last cow was shot last year shooting factory Hornady 143 Eldx @ 360ish yards. None went further than 20 yards. I have now switched over to UnKnown Munitions...
I am currently running a Horizon Vandal Carbon with Copper Creek Berger 77 Otm Tactical topped with a Trijicon Ten Mile HX. The gun shoots lights out. I have been impressed with the rifle to say the least.
Had the chance to try out the Berger’s 77 OTM Tactical loaded by Copper Creek Ammo on a WT Doe. Shot was 170 yards and hit center shoulder. She ran maybe 15 yards and left a good blood trail. Now to try them on some hogs. Does anyone else hunt with this bullet and what terminal results you getting?
Has anyone tried Berger Hybrid 105's in a 6 Creed. I had some loaded by Unknown Munitions to try. I'm currently waiting on my stock but will soon try them out on hogs
