I have made them out of 1x2s to make a frame the size of a sheet of paper and then screwed an arca plate to the bottom to mount to a tripod.
The one I have now is made from PVC and I use painter's masking paper rolls to shoot through. If you search pvc paper tuner there are how too all over...
A LOT of us bought barreled actions. Buying a good stock was part of the build to begin with.
That said, NOBODY makes anything that comes close to what the Howa Mini is. There's really nothing else like it to "move on down the road" to.
If you haven't handled a mini in a lightweight stock, you...
The beauty of the Howa Mini/carbon stock combo is that it is stupid light and crazy compact. A Tikka of any flavor is a pig comparatively. The 6ARC as a hunting cartridge flat works in the tiny Mini action. It's like they were designed together. A long Tikka just wouldn't be nearly the same.
What are you seeing for MV? I am in the process of planning a 6 Creed build with a 17-18" barrel and will be using factory ELDms as well. I get almost 2900 MV when I find 1800FPS at 800 at 5000ft on Shooter. That seems really fast but would be awesome to see.
Lower magnification will make up for a smaller objective. Also Trijicon has stated multiple times that all their scopes use the same glass so you are familiar with the clarity there.
All S&B scopes will be excellent. If that's in your budget, do it. I absolutely LOVE my Klassik 3-12x42. Much...
The more you turn "real estate investing" into 'running a business" on a piece of property of course the return will increase. But there is a point where it's a normal business and not simply real estate investing. Running a luxury mobile home park with tons of amenities is a business. Damn near...
And I bet any random person can pick 5-10 of those top performers out of the list with zero research.
Successful trading is about mindset not so much skill. And I agree with SDhunter that a lot of people need the arms length that an advisor provides so they don't screw themselves. That said...
This post shows a fundamental lack of understanding of what the VAST majority of pro investors are tasked with doing. They are tasked with minimizing risk. NOT high performance. They are also severely handicapped by regulations and rules that artificially hinder performance. The S&P is mostly...
Figure in current rates and subtract paying yourself a fair wage and things get slim cashflow wise.
I know some people do not count their time in the mix but I do for everything. What it would cost to replace my work comes off the top before I calculate any returns for everything I do.
You don't buy real estate for cash flow. If it cash flows well, that's a bonus. Real Estate investing is best thought of as a tool for wealth building and for tax advantages. At least that's my takeaway.
That said, I do not invest in real estate currently. That's too hands on for me and the...
I think it's the "point" but personally I think people are way too conservative with their inflation figures. IMHO you need to be able to bump your "take home" by 10% annually minimum to stay ahead of inflation. You get a 5% bump and you are falling behind.
I know that's hard for a lot of...
The problem is that 60k/yr might work today but WILL be broke in 10 years. People HAVE to have a plan to increase earnings each year. There's no other way about it. The world gets more expensive every day.
$9k for a 6.5ft bed cab over hard shell with zero in it is a good price?
The $5600 is for a 5ft with no cabover and zero inside. Not even powdercoat on the outside.
LOL.
Harker and Lone Peak are both $6k WITH the tent and side doors. Finished.
The guy's budget was $10k all in.
Heck you can...
Tha Moonlander is way too much money for what it is IMHO. God they are ugly too. You can get a Lone Peak or Harker for similar money and it comes with the tent.
I really think the OP is looking for an actual built camper though. Not a "hard tent" in the bed of his truck.
