    Knight Ultralight cleaning

Using water should help. Especially with 777, alcohol wont soften up the fouling enough so it can wipe off easily. If you get that area damp for a minute it will clean up much easier. I mostly used a toothbrush for cleaning, but this is one of those annoying things about inlines. There isn't a...

Seating Depth Change Due to Recoil

That is going to be dependent on your case, neck thickness, annealing, etc. In most instances a .003" interference fit will get you all of the neck tension that a brass case can provide. It isn't a hard and fast rule, only a general rule of thumb. Crimping can be a solution and often works...

    Arrow finish

I know the kind you are talking about. I'll give that a shot. Its probably the same stuff as the regular, just pre-thinned. Thanks.

    Listen up Californians!

I never admitted that. What I said is they do not have the authority to show up in another state and enforce their environmental laws. California absolutely does have an insane power with the EPA that no other state in the nation does. California is the driving force for environmental laws in...

    Cva thread pitch

If they are flame cut, they are melted. I can't say if that is the problem without looking at it, but there appears to be a bunch of people with the same exact problem. Plug threads in half way, sealing lip is damaged. Threads were flame cut from the failed seal.

Who is Hoffman Boots......let me tell you?

Well no, basically the polar opposite of a tennis shoe. Here is another I found with a more durable looking construction, but the sole on this is inadequate. Definitely use a more aggressive sole like the Softstar. If you could make that bearfoot upper with that megagrip sole Softstar uses, and...

Are you using normal oil based minwax polyurethane? Are you thinning it? Are you using that special minwax wipe on polyurethane?

    Listen up Californians!

Ok, I found it. section 209 of the clean air act. It also reminded me of CARB. Those non-adjustable carburetors that always run lean? Califiornia. Those gas cans that don't pour, yet leak? California.

    Arrow finish

That's probably the route I will go. I don't want them to look like glass, I want them to look like wood. Half the time I see pictures of wood arrows, they paint half of them. What good is wood if you hide it? Mine are Surewood douglas fir with some strong looking texture. No way I'm hiding...

    Listen up Californians!

If you want to get technical, there isn't one. I don't know the exact date this started, but it appears to be a part of the clean air act dating back to the 70's. California alone, no other state, is allowed to set their own emissions standards, provided it at least meets the federal rules. The...

    Listen up Californians!

That's not really the case. "California people" is just a catch-all used for all the problems that came with immigration of people recently to rural areas. Really it's more a problem of big cities growing and controlling rural areas. There's areas of the country that are weird, but for the most...

    Listen up Californians!

California refugee's are welcome in South Dakota, our governor actively promotes it even. Unfortunately most California people are so accustomed to big cities and mountains and warm, they don't always feel home in the flat lands. I really can't imagine a person from southern CA ever loving...

    Cleaning your Muzzleloader

Have you tried bore cleaner like Hoppes #9? BH209 is hard fouling, but I never had to leave a breech plug soaking overnight. A tooth brush and drill bit were the tools I used.

    Arrow finish

I am building my first arrows and I have a question I have not found a really good answer for. I am looking into sealers, and I'm not surprised to find there are tons of ways to seal wood. In the future I may try a special product such as Bohning fletch-lac, or the often recommended Daly's...

Who is Hoffman Boots......let me tell you?

The quality on these looks great, and I sure am glad you are offering size 15. I wish you would offer wide sizes too. I've gone a different route than what people traditionally go for. There is a time and place for super stiff, supportive boots with super thick soles, but that is not the style...

    Muzzleloader Scope and Mount?

You will probably be fine. I had a trotting deer last year at 40 yards that was almost lost in my 4x of my 4-12x scope on my rifle, but it still worked. Realistically 3x is just fine at 30 yards and farther, and a standing still deer is still killable at closer ranges than that. That said...

    Alkaline batteries in trail cam???

That's because they are only 1.2v batteries rather than alkaline that are 1.5v when charged. Your batteries are fully charged, your battery gauge simply isn't displaying accurately. It will say this in your cameras instructions. Even though they start lower voltage, they still have an acceptable...

    Definitive Freezer Size Thread

It's my opinion two small chest freezers are better than one big one. I don't know what size mine is, but I'd rather have two 6cf than one 12cf. Hauling one of those big boats in there is no fun. I could be wrong on size, I don't know if 12cf is big or not. If it ever dies, you better know...

    Cva thread pitch

If you have the plug, you have the answer already. Pitch is nothing but threads per distance. If its standard, measure 1", and count the threads. If you have a caliper, metric is easy, just measure from peak to peak of a thread, and your pitch is that distance in millimeter. More than likely...
