    Falken Wildpeaks have been good for me. I can recommend based on good experience in mud, gravel, snow, highway. I have KO2 now but the Last Frontier fella made wanna try Duratracs!

    42, I feel like these days I can barely afford to hunt and the cost is going up. I would be frustrated by the cost if I was making what I did in my 20’s.

    First, whatever you do get the x42 not the x32. Having said that, I had all the same questions you do and I resisted the range binos because the warranty on the electronics seemed weak and I if the laser crapped out I’d just have heavy binos… I finally swapped my old Swaros for new Leica...

    You forgot to account for the percentage of shots taken one-handed, behind the back, blindfolded at 1000 yards where 6.5 Creedmoor hits the bull 60% of the time, every time. Other than that you’re probably right.

    No, I still hunt the same areas but many of them don’t have CWD anyways and the ones that do are just convenient for me I guess.
