I was looking at the same kilo and I've noticed there's a few different ones. I have a tec tec and the thing is reading 51 yd even if it's 54 yards or 51 yards so that's why I'm getting a new rangefinder. Is the 2000 decent to where I don't have to upgrade next year?
I just wanted to thank everyone for helping me out. Got my boat all dialed and thanks to RAD Archery in South florida. I thought this should be a funny story to some so here goes.
I bought my new bow from a pro shop in Southwest Florida and before I left the shop after buying the bow, he told...
Honestly the pro shop guy had the bow tune messed up. Retune the whole bowl with the help of everyone. This community is amazing. Unfortunately I lost a few arrows due to tuning the bow and then going out to 60 yards and shooting before moving my sight ECT. So I need new arrows anyway. Man I'm...
I think I'm going with 28". I bet I could fit off an extra half an inch though. What would be the benefit of that half an inch? I have a ultra rest integrate mx2 so same thing. It is 👍
70# and 28.5 draw. I think I'm actually going to do 28" shafts without nocks or tips. I guess my suggestions would be different inserts( I hear people don't like HIT) or if anyone recommends a certain vane. I'm going for elk, whitetail, and hopefully 🤞 some other animals but mostly those two.
Going hunting September 2nd. I have never built arrows in my life. I'm not sure if I should let the guy at the pro shop build me arrows. He sent me on my way with a rest that was super far right and I had to retune bow. My arrows were longer than I needed them. And they're on the verge of being...
What's everyone's opinion on Barb's broadheads? Are they good for anything? I tried ram cats, the barbed ones, and when I shoot them the blade comes loose and actually sways up. I don't know if it was meant to do that but I don't see the benefits.
Technically we're throwing sharp razor blades...
Next year I'm buying everything I need to and going to learn how to make my bow bullet hole my self. I am going to the shop tomorrow. Maybe he has one. I am honestly thinking I can make the 340 work for September.
I actually like the guy at my shop. Seems knowledgeable but who knows because...
Thanks for trying to help. I'm going to go back and see if I can shoot paper there. I also am going to shoot 66 pounds draw weight for now to be safe. Next year I will have a draw board, bow press, and fletching jig. I'll be able to do most myself and I'm learning so I appreciate all your help...
