Let me know if you find anything that fits the bill. I’m 6ft 7in 250lbs. The only thing I’ve tried that works is the Eddie Bauer stuff in xlt. I haven’t been able to try the Sitka kelvin on yet but that was my next step. But for the dollar value and the amount I use them the EB stuff is hard to beat
I had Duratracs on my tundra and they got very loud after 10,000 miles. Now that’s just my personal opinion, I switched to Toyo AT 2’s on that tundra and have toyo at3’s on my F150. My buddy has a Tacoma with duratracs and rode with him the other day and heard the hum of his tires. Noisy tires...
I have worked in the landscape industry, irrigation to be specific for the last 12 years strictly because it’s crazy crazy March-August but drops off significantly in the fall/winter. I have always been able to hunt as much as I want to. This year I went 100% self employed and have been working...
I bought a havak element at the end of June and haven’t heard a word about it since. Not worried about it but hoping I get it before my second rifle season deer hunt. They said 12 weeks when I ordered it but figured it might go past that with all this going on. Seems Covid is really slowing down...
I just bought a 2019 with the 2.7 in it. I don’t tow much at all. Use the truck for service work so put a lot of miles on it everyday and average 19.1 with 75% city driving. Seemed like the best compromise to me when I bought it, if was really buying a truck for the towing capacity I’d get a 3/4...
It’s never been an issue for me personally but I can see where it would be nice to have. But for a couple hundred doll hairs I’m ok with not having a draw stings around the waist, bungee cords are cheaper
No issues for the two guys in my hunting party that got deer tags. Had them logged in 45 minutes early sitting by the computer till 9:00. Entered all the info and checked out. Second year we’ve been successful on leftover day, but we don’t go for highly sought after units either, draw them with...
I second the Eddie Bauer stuff. I’m 6ft7 and I get there tall sizes in there down stuff. On top of the fit being great for me being tall, they’re pricing is much better than the hunting lines, might not be as good (or just not a fancy camo pattern) but keeps me plenty warm and packs down nicely
