Dall and stone you are right. I am not going to agree with regards to bighorn and dessert. Plus we are talking about a guide not the outfitter, not the bush pilot, try to stay on point. P.S. I have experience with all four thank you.

Having watched this a lot, the guy had nuts the size of elephant ears. But, in reality once he got that bow back, he did not have a lot of options other than what he did. I can’t tell if he could have let it walk all the way by then shot or not.

For those of you who have shot a brown bear with a bow or guided someone who has harvested one, what are you thoughts on broadheads? I am a fixed blade guy for big game, always have been and will never change. For whitetails, I will shoot a expandable my favorite being the slick trick hybrid...
Since we have some good answers, I will add to my original post.
1. I have tipped a guide more than the price of the hunt, so that is proof positive the price of a hunt does not factor in to me.
2. Going to stir the pot here most likely, but if a guide is guiding a 75K dessert sheep hunt he...

1. Whether I harvest an animal factors in, but...
Thanks. I feel like I am starting over. For 20 years I did nearly all DYI hunts all over the place then my business became very profitable and I have been a Pansy every since on guided hunts. My wife is enjoying me returning to my roots more than anyone she is laughing every night thinking of me...
What is the price and do you need a coupon code? I see them for $169, but it does not say “sale” on the webpage to which I was directed.

How important is the GWS material. My guess is in Alaska where it is always wet that would help keep the bag dry by a landslide.

Thanks! For the price of the hunt, I should be able to bring 2 lead acid batteries! In all seriousness, I know how remote it is there and how expensive it is just pull off the logistics of the hunt so not complaining. Blessed to go!

As mentioned in other threads, going on an Alaskan Brown bear hunt for 16 days. Been there enough to know being rained/weathered in some is nearly a certainty.
Anyone have advise on a power bank and solar charger that has worked for them to charge phone and I-Pad? I know leave the stuff at...
The Wiggys do look considerably larger in terms of rolling around space. Are they really true on their temperature ratings? I think I am down to either WM or Wiggys.
I will also say I am only 6’ and 170lbs so not a real big guy so that helps.
