    UM TIKKA Scope Rings

Got mine mounted. Left space for the level on the back ring. Had a little shipping snafu and it didn't show up but it is on the way. I used form's recommendations for the torque specs. Did not use the pins, really couldn't with the way I had it set. Not worried about it. Just a thought but a...

    UM TIKKA Scope Rings

I was coming here to ask the same thing. The qr code on my box does not work to get to the instructions. It takes me to the um site to purchase rings. I remembered form's recommendations quoted above but wasn't certain if that's what they had settled on.

    UM TIKKA Scope Rings

Mine arrived earlier today. First impressions -these look great and appear to be very robust. Never had any problems with the sportsmatch but these are very beefy in comparison. I'll get them mounted this evening or tomorrow.

    LRHS2 back in stock

I went ahead and grabbed one of these, came in yesterday. Looks to be very solid and robust. See how it does at the range in the next few weeks.

    LRHS2 back in stock

Is there any notable changes in construction to give pause on the lrhs2. You may not know the answer to that🤷

    LRHS2 back in stock

He's stated before they are GTG. Going off memory believe it was said a few have some fogging issues. No other issues that I can remember.

    Tikka T3 Cheek Riser

I have the mtn tactical and it will slip if you push on it. Bought some grip tape and put between the riser and stock and it solved the slippage. Cant see it at all. I'm happy with it as I can adjust it exactly where I want and put some negative rise into it.

    Rimfire choices

Surprises me too, I handled several at a gun show last weekend and they were every bit as smooth as my Tikka. Not sure but there seems to be a bit of bergara hate floating around rokslide recently. I am a very objective person and am not brand loyal. Pick one that is based off your main...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

"A mild cartridge like a .243 is night and days difference from a .223, regardless of bullet selection." This is what is incorrect. His whole post/argument/view is based on that and as such is invalid because IT IS NOT TRUE. Bullets of the same make such as the TMK for example will exhibit more...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Sorry, but this is incorrect. Bullet selection is everything. Even before shooting the TMK at animals I had discovered this years ago with medium bore cartridges. I shot two deer back to back with the TMK last year at 200 yards. Damage was beyond what I have seen for years with bonded...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

Interesting, my experience is with an AR with many different loads and I can't tell much of a difference at all. Maybe the platform has someone do do with that. Only bolt .223 I have is not twisted fast enough for the tmk so I have never tried it in that.
