Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 C610 model. Used about 5 hunting seasons and just came back from Nightforce for an inspection, illumination repair, and replaced elevation turret due to some corrosion. The glass is in excellent condition but scope body has some scratches as seen in the photos.

Like new Swaro STC. Only used to about 5 times to glass outside my home or at the range. Warranty card is unregistered and comes with the factory box and all goodies unopened.
$2200 TYD shipped insured, Venmo or PayPal F&F which is preferred or $2270 for Goods and Services. I’d be happy to do a...
How's the feedback now that you've had this for a while? Any comparison to a VA-5 or Wiser head in how smooth it pans or how much weight it will stabilize smoothly?
I’m super interested to hear feedback as well after going from glassing with a VA5 to Anvil 30 head for the ability to shoot off a tripod. The Anvil 30 definitely isn’t as seamless to glass from. The only downside of the PT Scout would be the ~9oz extra to carry on top of the anvil.
I wanted to add to my notes from yesterday that when you consider the weight to performance ratio the ATC/STC has a strong advantage over the Kowa 77. Say my subjective observation was that the Swaro has 80% of the performance of the Kowa at 40x and below yet the weight of the STC is only ~58%...
Today I had an opportunity to spend a solid glassing session side by side with my STC and Kowa 774 at full daylight and again from evening till dusk. I only have the means to keep one scope so deciphering the positives and negatives of the spotters despite them being in different categories has...
I am building two moderately priced rifles set up identically rather than one $5k build. I went with a 6.5CM and 7 SAUM with Origin actions, Shilen 20” barrels, KRG Bravo, and 3-9 SWFA. I’m still waiting on parts so I cannot comment on results yet.
I plan to shoot 2-3 NRL hunter matches and...
Don’t listen to me! I’m a hypocrite that just built a 7SAUM and 6.5 CM to make a lighter and heavier recoiling combo. I haven’t had a chance to shoot either yet so I don’t have any feedback yet on recoil compared to the old 30-06. One thing I noticed shooting that 30-06 Tikka this year was the...
I’ve been eyeing the Benchmark Ibex stock but have no experience with it. I haven’t seen any Tikka builds with it yet so I’m curious about any feedback compared to the Manners EH1 or AG Alpine Hunter.
Does the frangible versus bonded/mono bullet matter in the discussion?
A bonded or mono .308 caliber expanded 1.5x leaves a .462” wound channel however the .264 caliber expanded is only .396”. I would not expect a difference of .066” in wound channel to determine if an animal dies from the...
I've been going through the same mental gymnastics for the past 4 months deciding on a more powerful cartridge for an elk rifle while having a separate lighter recoiling rife for the wife and kids or as a deer gun. I also do not reload yet so ammo availability is a concern.
The 6.8 western...
I've got the 8x42 NL with the headrest and love them. The FOV is so good it makes everything else seem like looking through a pipe. I compared the 8's to the 10's without the headrest outside at Sportsman's. The 10's were shakey enough that I couldn't decipher more detail at 1-2 miles than I...
Either Cimarron or even a Redcliff to offer more room for drying clothes and for firewood. I have a Guardian on order to use without a stove for a lighter setup and the Redcliff for when we are expecting weather.
The Tikka Veil comes threaded 5/8-24 and some calibers are available with 20" barrel. It's not quite under 6lbs, but has some added features over a regular T3x such as cerakote and heavier fluted barrel. Maybe not a bargain compared to a stainless Tikka, but its nice to not have to worry about...
