I just posted a samick with 25 and 40lb limbs. I started there personally 1 year ago, killed a cow elk with a 46lb longbow this fall. Never going back to a compound and I’m selling my muzzleloader. It quickly becomes all you care about! Check the classifieds if you’re interested in the samick.
This is the setup I used to get into the trad world. This is the complete setup you’d need to get going, minus arrows. Includes:

25 lb limbs
40 lb limbs
Detachable quiver and base
Hard case
2 strings
Clicker base already mounted on limb, will include a clicker blade and...
I hunted with a compound for 1 year and made a bad shot on a bull at 30 yards. I honestly got into archery because my wife was due in rifle season... I knew nothing about tuning or my equipment overall because I didn’t need to to be able to shoot groups at 50, which gave me confidence to take a...
I don’t believe you can download. It’s much easier to follow what he’s saying with a visual. I would suggest buying a stretch band prior to the course, as it’s almost impossible to practice the movements with anything over 15-20lb bow. I think RMS sells them
I have. It’s great. I’m fortunate enough to live near RMS, but it strongly recommend it for anyone that doesn’t. I’m not aware of another biomechanics NTS-style course that’s geared toward and taught by a hunter.

want to find hunters? Watch any one of onx, Randy newberg, Corey Jacobsen, or Born and Raised Outdoors “e-scouting” series, and do what they tell you. 😂 I appreciate all (most?) of what those guys do, but it’s pretty predictable where the out of staters will end up.
Ok I stumbled upon this thread and find myself 3 pages in. Op, you’re shooting 5 rounds a day due to the recoil? Do the math on that, you won’t be comfortable in time. You need to be prepared to take the 6.5 as well (on a 20k hunt, I’m taking a back up!) It’s super clear that you’re comfortable...
