I am gonna experiment this season, I got a selection from WM that have been proven comfortable for me.
The last 3 years been running EE and I haven't been disappointed.
Just got a 0F Enigma 850 that tipps in at 29oz.
That said, as I get older I find myself disliking the "cramped" feeling of a...
WM is my fav when in comes down to mummy style bags and like others, true to temperature rating.
As of late, enjoying quilts from Enlightenment.
My recent 0F Enigma custom 850 down regular wide, tipped in at 29oz bare.
In search of well cared for medium or large EXO skeleton belt in multicam/coyote/ranger green.
Please PM with details.
Thanks!
EDIT: Found one, thanks!
Consistent and uniform brass for consumables.
For hard parts; quality dies (Redding/Whidden), press (pick your poison single vs turret) and auto powder dispenser/scale (skies the limit).
My CPS primer is one piece I will not replace.
BK, though I have limited range and kill time with it but the Hornady 180 ELM is one of the sleekest 7mm offerings I have found and shot in 7WSM/7RM/7STW handloads.
Though I have only shot blacktail and muley with them at broadside or quarter away.
The Hornady 162 ELDX would seem to hold...
I used FHF exclusively for the last 5 seasons.
Now trying out HPG, so far, I like the layout of the Recon Full bag with bino pouch front mounted.
Sticks out a little further than I like but it's a compromise since I wanted to carry pistol discreetly.
I sorta went thru the same scenario myself.
Ended up going with Hill People Gear Recon Kit Bag full with their bino pouch too.
Full sized Glock with room to spare.
Whatever retention method you pick, practice draw and rounds on target under stress.
I own numerous pieces of SKRE.
One that I don't is the HS pants; for that money I would rather have a shorter inseam option without having to get them hemmed to my inseam.
@Josh with SKRE, come on man at least 32 inseams please!
I was out toward MNF on opening day.
Sounded like firecrackers going off everywhere.
Went out on a glassing point early AM and watched 2 groups of hunters shoot up a hill side at a forky.
11 shots total before the forky hit the ground.
I left that afternoon.
A-zone MNF is gonna be a tough one going in cold IMO.
Crowded to all mody-hell to boot and HOT!
I know of 2 groups of hunters that got shot a last year cuz they were moving through the brush and was "mistaken" for deer. How, I haven't the slightest. Like other members have said, it's a sea of...
