Sportsmatch failure
This is surprising as I've pulled screws (without heat) from 2 sets of sportsmatch rings that I accidentally used red loctite on super late at night past my bed time. Didn't realize it until I bent an allen wrench removing them months later. They were a bitch to get off but I chased the screw... -

Sounds like it's low on muzzle fluid. If thats not it sounds like you're on the right track. I'd swap another optic and go from there. Interested to see the results. -

I love to hunt woodies! Only problem is the little buggers are hauling ass over you in the timber before legal shooting light. Then once it's go time, you only have about 30 minutes before they find a hole for the day.- crich

DIY First Aid Kit
Cheap insurance to carry one. If Im in a situation where I need one I want to be able to apply one quickly and easily and not fiddle around with improvising one unless I have to. Especially if one arm or hand is disabled because of the Injury. Riggers belt works great but I don't wear a belt... -
