200grain nosler accubond is my preference to 500 yards. Not the best choice for much further than that. My 02 Sent from my SM-G981V using Tapatalk

    Kuiu Layering Advice?

Eddie Bauer is great for a budget lightweight puffy. Check out marmot precip for a rain jacket. Best bang for your buck in my opinion. Sent from my SM-G981V using Tapatalk

    Kuiu Layering Advice?

Backpack or truck camping? How long? I wouldn't be able to stand my stink wearing synthetic top for a week. I would want a merino t for my base. I would want a light puffy and rain coat. Leave the under armor at the truck. I thought that stuff was great, until I acquired good base layers Sent...

    Vacuum sealer bags

My vacuum sealer has it's place, but I have gone back to freezer paper when butchering. Just as fast, seems to hold better, and more durable. I know when it's wrapped, it's good for 1 year+. Disappointing when a bag seal fails on a favorite cut, and you have to trim freezer burn. Sent from my...

    DIY dehydrated meals

Dehydrated guacamole and salsa for taco night on the mountain. Like to throw some Dehydrated refried beans in with taco meat. A little coija cheese and a few tortillas and your set! I freeze the guacamole until I leave for the trip. The other items I have had sit for six months and still was...

Anyone excited for PA Rocklock season?

I really enjoy shooting and hunting with a flintlock. I find it to be a great bookend to my big game season. Best enjoyed with friends, and keep it light. They are capable of getting in your head and being a exercise in frustration if you don't practice and familiarize enough. Go for it man...

    Kuiu frame mod

Thinking I'm going to fasten/glue kifaru composite stays to it. See how it works out. Anyone have a recommendation for a adhesive/epoxy to use? Sent from my SM-G981V using Tapatalk

    Kuiu pack and frame compatibility.

Yep. Frame configuration has not changed. Forget if it was 17 or 18 when the buckle configuration changed on the side of the frame. They will send updated buckles if needed (at least they used to). Sent from my SM-G981V using Tapatalk

Anyone excited for PA Rocklock season?

Flintlock season requires it's own separate tag, and enables you to use a unused antlerd tag on a antlerless deer. Sent from my SM-G981V using Tapatalk

    Best Puffy

FL chamberlain if looking for a later season glassing coat. It's not what I want if moving around, but exactly what I want when sitting and it's cold. Cost to warmth pretty tough to beat. Sent from my SM-G981V using Tapatalk

    Advice on my sleep system

Not sure how cold it gets in your neck of the woods, but I would want to try that system out in single digits on a night I could bail if it wasn't working, before committing it to a extended hunt. Don't see why it couldn't work if dialed in. Not sure if you will be truck camping or backpacking...

    Seek Outside stove damper disassembly/packing

My box stove did not. Picked up a tube from seek after trying several months to stumble on a repurposed equivalent. Nice not to get creosote all over your pack. Sent from my SM-G981V using Tapatalk
