    All my great hunting spots as a kid have been paved over or developed for housing developments. More and more people crowding on to less land. Hate to see what kids born today will have available when they reach my age. Probably not much will be available, if any, for hunting.

    As others have said, strengthen core, hamstring, glutes. Every work starts with core yoga exercises. It’s a life style for me or live with pain. Find what’s works best for you. Romanian/stiff leg deadlifts really help me.

    The 280 is more popular now then it ever was. There are so many ‘06, 308 and 270 rifles out there they’ll never die. I can get 270 ammo cheaper then just about any other cartridge. Once you get away from sites like Rokslide most hunters just go get a regular old caliber in a middle level rifle.

    Find a Dam and fish below it. That is where some world class fishing can be found. Read any fly fishing website. Montana is the Mecca for fly fishing.

    Go to Casper WY. Contact Ugly Bug Fly shop. They suggested flys and pointed me in right direction. Caught 4 rainbows all over 24”. Next day did it again. Temp. dropped to 17 degrees. (Only bit during middle of the day for 2 hours).

    If you go offshore, Mahi, Blackfin tuna, Wahoo (4-6 guys). Inshore can be fun also tarpon, permit, snook (1-3 Guys). I usually ask local tackle shops (Don’t book through them) for recommendations. Aug. 6 is the start of lobster season. That can be fun if you’ve never done it. Snorkel (or dive)...
