    I use the lathrop synergy and love them. Heel rub is my biggest issue and I’ve tried tying every way I know how.

    Yeah I think a boot with more flex is far better for my particular foot. I’m mostly a day hunter with occasional need to pack weight so I try to keep my boots setup for the 95% of my hunting. Also I don’t like stiff boots AT ALL in flatlands and I wear my Solomon’s turkey hunting pretty regularly.

    I’m still really waffling on SFP or FFP. I really don’t foresee myself holding wind or even shooting much beyond 500 at animals - probably practice out to 800 since that’s the limit of my range. Probably should have added this context.
