    Results are posted. I'm not seeing whether or not I was awarded the mule deer stamp or not. edit: Checked my card and there's already a $150 credit on there. So whitetails only it shall be.

    I'd go with a 3-4 piece travel rods. Something like a 7' Light to Medium Light spinning rod for the trout setup.     Do you take a fly rod on your hunts?

    I rarely drive anywhere without a fishing rod of some sort in tow. 80% of the rods I own are travel rods (even my spinning and casting setups). Most of the time it doesn't get used, but better to have it and not use it, than have the time and opportunity to use it and not have it.
