No, I also don’t have kids. I posted that in response to the OP’s question of how to carry with a pack on, it seems you may have derailed this thread so far that you forgotten the original question… I’ll personally never waste a second of my breath justifying why and when I choose to carry a gun...

The JX Tactical low rider OWB holster works great for me. Drops the pistol beneath the pack belt and doesn’t interfere with anything.

How Much PTO Do You Have?

I can accrue 80 hours a year, plus bank up to 120 hours of OT into comp time if I can find coverage for my shifts. No limit to how many times I can fill my comp bank per year. Unfortunately with OT being insanely high right now, any comp time on weekends isn't likely to get approved. Also have...

Maven - B1.2 or B2….for my hunting uses?

My first good set of binos were the B2s, I also had diamondbacks before that. I have no experience with the 1.2s but the 9x B2s are awesome glass. Used they go for around $800ish and are an incredible value at that price point. They’re a little big and bulky but I think the glass is worth it...
