    Just a pro tip-hang them up relatively high so bulls don't rake them and bears don't get curious and gnaw on them. Its always a bummer when you leave them up for months and find them destroyed on the ground when you return.

    Don't forget to keep any water bladders, hoses, and nozzles warm as well. They might start freezing after your start your hunt, but you don't want to begin the hunt with a frozen nozzle or hose. Thats the worst. I've made that mistake too many times.

    T_Carlson nailed it. If he is hunting near his house, you may be shacking up there in comfort. Thats what I do. I haven't used my backpacking tent in 4 years. I haven't needed it.
