I dont have time to send them in before the elk trip if something were to happen.
I shoot at least 10 arrows in my basement every day. Usually I make it out to the range to shoot.
Shooting them is a risk I dont want to take.
I plan on giving the "new" arrow setup a test run before using them...
So if I damage or lose my cut throats should I rely on my mechanicals for elk?
That is the risk I am trying to minimize. I dont have extra cut throats for elk
I am also spending less than the cheaper suggested broadhead and it opens doors to play with arrow weight down the road.
Im happy with...
Absolutely. I should even be able to re sharpen it if need be. Thing is I for sure need it middle of August and dont want to take any chances of something happening to not allow me to use them that is out of my control.
I picked up a bunch of hypodermic on sale for $15 last year. I am far less...
I found these.

Isnt the hunter xt ID .246? I found HIT weights for .204, .246 and .166
Ye sir. It's on it's way.
I ordered these also as a backup. I'll fletch the 300s and hold off on installing the insert until I know the hits will be here. If they dont come I'll put these on before I glue in the insert...
Welp. Scheels had 50g weights. There is a Scheels about 2 hours from here I'm hoping they ship from. Or somewhere relatively near here to get here Thursday morning. It's a long shot but may as well try.
If they don't make it I'll have a stack of washers weighed out. Just in case.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I've searched out for answers and products to this issue and havent come across any.
Reluctantly, I have built my 250 spine arrows I'm using for this season. I'm focusing on an elk setup primarily but didnt even think about the two mule deer tags. I dont really want to shoot (and possibly lose)...
I'm shooting 200g cutthroats this year on a 28" 250 spine, 552g arrow.
I noticed
I also noticed a tad bit more helical than I put on my vanes. Three or four fletch? Shouldnt four fletch be a little less helical than a three fletch?
Mighty Mouse's photo may be a little misleading in that the...
Of the three brands of arrows I have shot, Gold Tips have stood up to way more abuse than other brands. Other brands have snapped, fractured or exploded in far less impact than Gold Tips ever have.
I'm not going to get real into it and I am happy they took care of you. I dont know who decided it ultimately was my fault the strings broke. From what I understand they are a good company with awesome strings. If they weren't I dont think WA would be doing business solely with them. I would buy...
I called Kyle. He offered to do it but wouldnt be able to until Monday. He sounded like a really awesome guy over the phone but I needed it done by Sunday. It isnt like me to do that either. I seriously dont like last minute rushes.
I'm not at will to say who though. I'll just say the archery...
I live on the North end of Davis county. I've been going to Wild Arrow but the guy I met taught me way more then I could ever ask for and did the work after I bought the bow.
They're good guys just super duper busy
That was one of many reasons they said it 'probably' happened. Whatever it was it wasnt the manufacturer. And really I was thinking about it, they could say anything to make it that way and i wouldnt be able to prove much of anything. Is what it is.
Yeah these guys are working a lot of hours...
Yep. Ended up with that. Oh, and a charge to get the strings sooner. No, I didnt get them replaced under warranty. I really like the guy who helps me at the shop. He doesnt BS me or try to sell me anything. I was told most likely I partial dry fired and it did that. Platinum strings from ABB did...
