I cooked them slightly, in water only. Steam them just enough to take a little crunch off, but not enough that makes them soft and mushy. Seemed to work out well and go thought the stuffer well.

Savage Axis XP II. I have one chambered in 6.5CM and it is a tack driver. My GF picked it up this year and shot a doe at 300 yards.
I am also in love with my Ruger M77 chambered in .300WM. It is certainly a step above the Savage Axis and Ruger American. Ruger doesn’t manufacture them anymore...
