Ground blind recommendations

Best overall blind is double bull double wide. Haven’t tried the new see through ones but I have three of the double wides. Expensive yes but I think by far the best available

I love the puffy pants I have. Got them on the $70 off sale. Wish they offered the matching jacket in more then medium. According to customer service they may not come back with it

Mesh laundry bags work great. Using the cheap safety harnesses that come with every treestand work fantastic for carrying your blind. Wear the shoulder straps use the leg straps to carry the blind just below your but. Doesn’t interfere with your vest/decoy bag over your shoulder

Single pin sight in hunting situations

Man I’m sorry I can’t remember it’s been a while now. Basically center your peep and scope housing around 40-50 yards. So 20 it’ll be a little high and 60,70,80 it will be a little low. But not as extreme as centering in at 20 and being way off at 60+

Wool garments and sheep hunting

Never hunted Alaska but I would hate to carry my wool up mountains. Still has its place hunting whitetails at home though

Midway USA Merino Wool

I also have the down jacket I got a few years ago for 25$. Super hard to beat for that price. I think their elk fork vests are outstanding as well especially on clearance. I didn’t even know they offered merino wool until it was all sold out this year
