    I picked up one yesterday. Filled it full of bar oil. I took the oil cap off and installed an o ring in the groove. Left it upright in the garage for 24 hrs. No leak.

    My experience is poles set in concrete can rot out relatively fast. Poles set in gravel can last much longer. FWIW
