    Source for practice ammo and best suggestion for reloadable hulls?

    There is not much for cheap factory loads with quality hulls. I'd bite the bullet and buy 2 cases of AA shells or buy fired AA hulls. I tried reloading a few of the cheap target ammo hulls and they just didn't last. Many were done their 2nd firing. I now only load AA.

    Bino Harness Recommendation

    The stone glacier one is the lowest profile I have owned. It doesn't offer as much protection because of it though... I'm now using the FHF FOB it's pretty low profile but I wish I went with a Marsupial Gear. The Marsupial is significantly cheaper and I prefer the way they open.

    Tikka Safety

    This was my first year with the Tikka. I also had issues with the safety getting bumped and bolt opening. My issue i believe stems from the gun carrier I was using it was not carrying the rifle tight and secure and allowing it to move around. I carry it with an empty chamber regardless.

    Knife Sharpeners for the Unskilled

    That specific work sharp is OK but it left a lot on the table. I'd personally go for the more expensive version or a KME. I went to the KME and I am much happier.

    223 69g TMK: best powder

    Varget is my go to. Loaded extra crunchy. Given the lack of varget I have also been experimenting. Benchmark and 8208 XBR have treated me very well. Benchmark being relatively easy to find. CFE223 and H335 and BLC2 also did OK but we're for from my favorite.

    There's rumors of ammo and components shortages every time a politican farts. This whole war in Ukraine was supposed to decimate our ammo and primer availability. While it's had its impact online and brick and mortar retailers are still getting more and more in stock.
