This might be the dumbest thing I've seen on rokslide yet....do you believe game laws are made to br disobeyed too to prove your birthright?
The person who drove around the gate was wrong period. If you want to push for a change in management show up to a public meeting or provide comment but...
The op mentioned seasonal closure on said nice looking road. I'm pretty sure "people" can very much enjoy the public road by walking...or biking like the OP. There are plenty enough open roads and trails for orv and motorized use that breaking the rules and driving around gates isn't justified.

The Idaho bill to allow lighted nocks and mechanical broadheads all makes sense now. Jlhois must have the ear of a legislator and has convinced him that if he'd only had a 2inch cutting diameter rage he'd of recovered his once in a lifetime buck.....or maybe at least manage not to gut shoot it...
It's even an emergency....gee better get right too it. I get it they want immediate implementation and that is the terminology to get there but the irony is to much for me.
Completely agree with you on the precedent set last year and the negatives that come with legislative wildlife management. I think we as sportsman should be really looking at the long game in these situations and cutting corners often has long term consequences associated with it even when seen...
