The 80s are the way to go if you go TTSX. I’ve had good performance with them on blacktail and bears with my .243. A mid to mid/high shoulder shot drops them in their tracks.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I really want to build one with an 18-20” length and a folding chassis. I don’t have the luxury of running suppressed in CA. but would love a light compact build that still packs a punch and adjustable chassis for both of my kids to shoot with ease.
Always float the barrel. If you want to bed the action it’s a pretty simple and cheap process. But it’s not a must. You could just float the barrel and put the gun back together. But while it’s apart I’d recommend cleaning and lock tite / paint pen and torquing the action screws to spec. It...

Just ordered brass for my .243 to load up and test a bunch of the 95 gr. Terminal shocks.
I have test loads loaded for my 270 with the 152 gr. Ts as well.

Not really sure. Drop approved scope would be preferred because that’s what this sale would be funding. But I’d be open to other optics or things of close to the same value.
