    The 80s are the way to go if you go TTSX. I’ve had good performance with them on blacktail and bears with my .243. A mid to mid/high shoulder shot drops them in their tracks.

    Awesome. Thanks for the info. I really want to build one with an 18-20” length and a folding chassis. I don’t have the luxury of running suppressed in CA. but would love a light compact build that still packs a punch and adjustable chassis for both of my kids to shoot with ease.

    Always float the barrel. If you want to bed the action it’s a pretty simple and cheap process. But it’s not a must. You could just float the barrel and put the gun back together. But while it’s apart I’d recommend cleaning and lock tite / paint pen and torquing the action screws to spec. It...

    Nice!!! Just ordered brass for my .243 to load up and test a bunch of the 95 gr. Terminal shocks. I have test loads loaded for my 270 with the 152 gr. Ts as well. I’ll post after I have the results.
