I used to have a pair of fury’s and hated them. To me they looked like diamondback glass or worse. I don’t know if my pair was a lemon or what but they are suppose to have viper glass in them. I’d spend the money and get something nicer
Whether its the RRS Cinch, Aziak bino clamp, and now the wiser the market is blowing up with new bino tripod adapters. I really like how this one lets you clamp around the center post and has a hole to mount on the end of a trekking pole. I could definitely see a scenario where you're out of...
A few months ago I picked up my Silencerco Sparrow and my Thunderbeast Ultra 5 within a week of each other. My wait on the sparrow was 81 days, Ultra 5 was 195 days.
I recently acquired a pair of Revic rangefinding binoculars. I don’t need them atm and am looking to sell them. They have never been used in the field and are brand new. I have the box and everything in it. Asking $2250 since I’ve seen others being posted for the same and I think that is a...
I have a pair for sale now if anyone is interested. They have never been used and have only been taken out of the box for photos. Shoot me a message if you’re interested. $2250
Facebook marketplace always has rotomolded coolers for sale for cheap but if you’re on a budget it takes a lot of ice to pay off an expensive cooler. Just buy a cheap cooler and keep buying ice
You can get buy with trail runners when on trail or with a light pack but off trail or 70lbs+ definitely not. Shuttle the meat to a trail or road then put on the trail runners.
if you own a dog I was just go unguided. Lots of public ground that hold birds in SD and knocking on doors is easy too. Don’t over look neighboring states too. iowa Minnesota nebraska are great as well. Historically Iowa killed more birds then SD but habitat isn’t there anymore
Yeah I’ve found that out over the past few months, I lucked out on a some pretty cheap rent for a farmhouse. $1500 for 3 bed one bath on 50 acres outside of Boise. And I agree I don’t ever wanna be to tied to a place unless I own land there.
Can we get an Update and what you decided?
I’m in a similar boat. From the Midwest went to school in Washington and graduated a couple years ago. I wasn’t a fan of Washington but fell in love with Idaho. Will be moving to the Boise area next week.
Recently bought a Proof elevation and couldn’t be happier with it. Essentially it’s a custom rifle priced for the sum of its parts. Proof barrel and stock, Zermatt origin action, trigger tech trigger, etc. The only thing cool about a christensen FFT is the stock, it’s the lightest or second...
I have some 168vld and Eldx but I’d like to stick with Accubonds. I’m gonna try shooting them all tho and see what my gun likes. I’ll be hunting everything with it. Elk deer antelope bears and in a few years I’ll likely move to alaska and hunt sheep and moose with it. Maybe some bears up there...
I’ve got a 22” barrel for mine so I’ve been leaning towards the faster burning powders. What kind of velocities were you getting with rldr 23 and 26. Also barrel length? Really appreciate the response
I am but I don’t work in Chandler or run the optics shop at any stores. If you’ve contacted Magview and don’t feel like you’re getting anywhere maybe talk to the optics manager at Chandler. Magview may have a paid endcap for our optics shop so that may be why they take up so much space, I do...
I’ve always thought this too. I used to have Fury’s and much prefer running a bino and a separate rangefinder now. I’m spending so much more time using them to glass and NOT range that the horrible ergonomics, size, and weight of RF binos is not worth it. Especially when I can pull out my...
