I've zeroed guns for years on a weighted sled with no issues. My P.O.I is always super close off of bags or a bipod w/ rear bag afterwards. You are over thinking it.
The sooner you do it the better. Eventually it will get to the point where tags are priced out of a lot of peoples budget. Also every year you wait is a year you could have learned something or created a memory instead of a year of wishing.
The goal this year was to have at least 25 birds shot over her this season. She is well on her way to doubling that number and i have 2 more months of the season left. After the season it will be force fetch training and getting her ready for navhda UT testing. Covid messed up her NA testing and...
My gsp gets victor professional in the purple bag. Ppp dulled her coat and she didn't seem to have the end of the hunt energy she did on the victor so i switched back. My beagles get fed The Pride 28/20 mix. They do better on the pride than the victor. After talking extensively to my Vet about...
I wish you would have posted this last week. I was down that way visiting my dad for christmas i would have brought you a few packs. The local mom and pop shop near me outside of ebensburg has a shelf full still.

The coppers are used a lot around here with in lines and flintlocks. They end up in a lot of lessons in deer tracking. I switched to the barnes to get away from this issue. This year two doe were shot and massive blood trails to the deer. Both dropped within 60 yards. People argue shot placement...
It was nice that when i called they were more than receptive to my input and willing to make exactly what i wanted. I was kinda shocked when they told me to wear the brown one until the orange one showed up with a return shipping label, and then i could return the brown one.
So i wore it today on my pheasant hunt. 28° with a light snow rain combo and 6" of snow on the ground and a decent amount of wind. It was my outer shell paired with a swazi fleece hood and first light fuse top. This thing is more than water resistant. Going through snow laden pines on top of...
After shredding quite a few windbreaker's and sweating my butt off in heavy brush coats I finally decided to see what i could do to find the outer layer that worked for me. My requirements were that it had to be blaze orange, briar proof, waterproof, and modular enough that i didn't have to...
