Although I have and enjoy my Swaro 8.5x42's, when rifle hunting out west I always use my Geovid 10x42's.
I'd like to hear reasoning from folks who use 8x binos for their main hand held binoculars when western BG hunting.
I have some spare parts left over from a couple build projects:
kimber hunter (tan) synthetic stock, includes actions screws but no magazine.

From the optical standpoint if there has been improvements I'm not sure how noticeable they would be.
I am still using my 2015 Geovid HD-R's even after owning and then selling off newer model Geovids as well as the last 2 generations of EL Ranges.
In my case I don't need the onboard ballistics...
At times I still hunt with my custom Pre 64 M70 300 H&H which weighs a little under 8lbs. in an Echols stock.
Sure it's a bit snappy compared to my other rifles but I have a lot of history with this rifle , it's extremely accurate and the rifle that's put most of my elk on the ground.
I am a big fan of the LRX's and the 127/6.5CM has been a great combo for us on deer/antelope.
I trust the 95 LRX would be a likewise good performer, just not sure on the bigger game as I've not used them.
This is the 3-9x36 model , 1" SFP with the great 4a reticle
It has light ring marks, comes with factory scope covers but no box.
Lenses are in great shape.
