    Thanks. What do you use as scope height for medium UM rings? Off topic but is there a reason manufacturers of Tikka rings or other direct mount rings that aren’t subject to a variety of rails under them don’t publish the height over bore as part of product data?

    Velocity was average of 10 shots across a magnetospeed. If only hunting out to ~400 would you have any major concerns with the data I’ve got now? I don’t have many other options aside from just ensuring my max range is within what my data is valid for?

    Initial solution based on 4000’ elevation and 75F. So my initial thought was to come up 3.5”. I took 3.5 / (3.6x6.85) = 1.42 and rounded up to 2. MV adjustment for 5.5 at 685 is 2473fps. Playing with it at home and looking at it again I think I should just go up .1 and correct it to 5.4...

    1 - I need to learn to read wind better (I knew that though and am not shooting game this far) 2 - up .2 mils. That corrects MV to 2483 or so. But seems to work?
