Welcome grew up in Indiana and now reside in Alaska for the next couple years. Be careful once you hunt the mountains you will always want to go back.
I do miss hunting hard wood river bottoms though.
I have to say cabelas Krotos's
I had my 65mm next to my Swaro 95Atx and I was really pulling at string to "make" my Swaros better.
I was trying to figure out if the weight of the swaros were really worth the haul in sheep country.
I decided to go with the Krotos..which I do belive are...
Recoil on a 7mag suppressed is next to nill. I a big fan of no such thing as too much power when it comes to elk. I have a 20" 7mag. 16" didn't give me the velocity I wanted for my application. I prefer a flatter shooting rifle. I have post somewhere talking about how much FPS you loose with...
Found it thanks! Everytime I googled emergency orders it just took me to the fishing one

Your 100% correct it won't be that much I totally misspoke. I was thinking from a typical factor 24" Barrel down to 20" will be about 100fps.
Here's a good article on it.

You'll lose about 100fps per inch you cut off.
I'm running. 7mag 20" with a can. I'm shooting the hornady 150gr cx at 2700fps. That was 3000ft in elevation.
