    2020 Elite Kure

I ended up ordering a Kure, even though they didn't come out with a longer ATA. After playing with it a bit, I actually don't mind the 32" ATA. The riser is the same length, actually a little longer then my 34.75" bow it is replacing...so it actually doesn't feel any shorter. My DL is 28.5"...

    Hunting Release

I used a truball beast for years and then switched to a Wiseguy last season. I ended up with some tendon soreness, and am trying out a Stan SX3 this season. So far, I have really liked it and I don't think I will be going back to a trigger. I feel like I can anchor more consistently with a...

    Bow out of tune frequently

I see no reason to wait if you are going to replace them anyhow. They won't wear out by hunting season.

2020 Mathews VXR review, live on the fly!

So this...review. It is an ad from Matthews, right?

Wrist Release that wont break the bank

Another vote for the Spot Hogg Wise Guy. I liked the version with the nylon strap connection, but it is also available with a bar. I went from a Beast to it last year and it was great. It took a bit for me the break in the leather, but it fires really nice. It is also small and compact and I...

    3 pin ascent verdict help

I personally prefer the floater to be a different color.

    Hunting Stabilizer

I am personally a proponent of a front and side bar setup. The front bars make for good handles when carrying bow on your shoulder. A tight spot with 4 530g arrows is almost 14 ounces hanging off the side of your bow. I find the lighter the bar section of the stabilizer the better. You can...

    Ripcord LOK Issue

Any other feedback? Topo, did Ripcord tell you that it can't be fixed on your own, or just that it "is complicated?" I have torn apart a couple of the other rip cord models to replace the cord, and while a pain, its not that big of a deal.

    New Arrows

I would definitely take a look at your spine. If you can stay at 300, the Deep Impacts are really great arrows. If you are going to drop to 250, take a look at the Rampage. I am a 28.5" draw and run the Rampage 250 with a 100g collar system (BE makes one and there is the Iron Will SS 25g with...

    WTB Elite Kure

I am looking for an Elite Kure. Preferably not black or camo (Grey or Brown), but if the price is right, I would strongly consider. I would take either 65lbs or 70lbs limbs. Right handed. Money in hand and ready to buy. Thanks!

CO bowhunting changes on the way

This is true....my point was related more to the rumor they will move everything to draw in the next five years.

CO bowhunting changes on the way

Colorado has been the only state where you get an elk tag and have no idea how many other hunters are in the unit you are hunting. They need to spread people out across all the units and there is no way to do that with OTC tags.

More Colorado OTC archery units set to move to draw in 2020...

Once it goes all draw, they will at least be able to control how many hunters are in each unit and spread things out. That will be a huge plus!

More Colorado OTC archery units set to move to draw in 2020...

I would much rather have a quality hunt every other year then the shit show we have now. Also, 35% is supposed to be the ceiling on non-resident tags. They can always go lower and give more resident tags. As was mentioned before, OTC tag sales have TRIPLED in the last 10 years and NR make up...

More Colorado OTC archery units set to move to draw in 2020...

It passed, all these units become draw. Glad to see them making this change and limiting the number of hunters, especially the non-resident hunters. Colorado law dictates that draw tags should only be 35% non-resident. Currently OTC tags are 50% NR. I am hearing the next step is to limit all...

More Colorado OTC archery units set to move to draw in 2020...

Archery OTC tag counts have TRIPLE in the last decade. If you have hunted both OTC archery in Colorado and limited in a quality unit with fewer tags, there is a HUGE difference in the quality of the hunt. Go even further, hunt limited archery in a place like New Mexico and compare it to your...

More Colorado OTC archery units set to move to draw in 2020...

I would hunt bears if I had more time to hunt, but I don't want to eat a bear...lol I live in the Roaring Fork Valley and I hope they make the move to limited archery tags in the Frying Pan areas they have been discussing. Those units were bull only for archery last year. I agree the problem...

    2020 Elite Kure

A 34-35" Kure will also be a slightly different riser design, but this should at least give you an idea. Also, the Ritual 35 is .1 lbs heavier then the Ritual 33. If the Kure is basically 32" and they do a Kure 34", it should be pretty close to the same comparable.

    2020 Elite Kure

Well...the 37" Rezult with all the same tech is 4.7lbs....so I am guessing 4.65?
